Girl, 7, fights for life after Sheffield quad bike crash

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a seven-year-old girl was left fighting for her life after a crash on a quad bike in Sheffield.

The girl was on wasteland off Adkins Road in the Scraith Wood area last Wednesday at 7.10pm when the blue and white Suzuki crashed into a concrete post.

The girl, who lives in the Scraith Wood area of Sheffield, suffered life threatening head injuries and is being treated in Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the accident to call police on 101 quoting incident number 907 of the 24 May.
