HGV and Jeep collide on M62
The driver of this Jeep Cherokee had a lucky escape when it collided with a Scania HGV on the M62 westbound near Brighouse this morning.
Police closed two lanes as they dealt with the incident, which caused long tailbacks.
The West Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Unit tweeted a photo of the wrecked car with the comment: “Driver extremely lucky, only minor injuries.”
The crash happened around 8.35am.
