Jet2 suspends all holiday packages from Leeds Bradford Airport to Greek islands Zante and Crete

Jet2 has suspended all package holidays from Leeds Bradford Airport to two Greek islands.

Following the latest Government advice regarding travel to seven Greek islands from the UK, all Jet2holiday packages to Zante and Crete have been cancelled.

This will affect holiday packages from today up to and including September 20.

A spokesperson for Jet2 said: "Customers in these destinations can continue to enjoy their holidays and we will be in touch soon should there be any changes to return flights to the UK.

"If you have a package holiday (Jet2holidays) that is affected by any programme changes, we will be in touch to discuss your options as soon as we can.

"We would like to thank our customers for their continued patience and understanding."

From 4am on Wednesday, arrivals from Zante, Crete, Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete and Santorini will need to self-isolate for 14 days.

Mainland Greece will maintain its quarantine-exemption.

Jet2 flights to Zante and Crete are currently running as scheduled and customers with flight-only bookings will not be entitled to a refund.

Customers who wish to change flight-only bookings to Zante and Crete up to September 20 will be offered the chance to re-book flights to any location with no admin fee.
