Leeds Stanningley Bypass closed for ‘several hours’ after woman injured
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a “one car road traffic collision” in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police officers closed the Leeds bound lanes of Stanningley Bypass, in Bramley, this morning just after 9.25am, close to where the incident took place.
A spokeswoman said the eastbound lanes of the road, the A647, were “expected to be closed for several hours”.
The incident has led to diversions and heavy traffic in the surrounding areas.
