Nine injured in A170 crash
Nine people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on the A170 in North Yorkshire earlier today.
The road was closed between Sutton Bank and Helmsley following what police described as a “serious” crash.
The air ambulance attended the scene.
The road reopened two hours later.
North Yorkshire Road Policing Group later tweeted: “9 casualties but non life threatening thankfully, thank you for your patience.”
