One year-old boy critical after Doncaster crash

He was injured when the silver BMW he was travelling in left the road on Askern Road, Carcroft, and crashed into a tree at 7.30pm yesterday.

The young boy was rushed to hospital while another passenger in the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman from Doncaster, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, a 29-year-old man also from Doncaster, sustained minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the vehicle prior to the collision, is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1005 of 17 December.
