Passenger dies after Pontefract crash

A MAZDA passenger was killed in a crash in Pontefract at the weekend, police confirmed today.

The collision took place on the A645 Pontefract Road at Purston, Featherstone, on Saturday, West Yorkshire Police said.

The fatality occurred when the Mazda was involved in the crash with a Peugeot at around 3pm.

Both drivers and another passenger were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital for treatment.
