Three taken to hospital in two road accidents in Bradford in early hours

Three people were taken to hospital after crashes on roads in the Bradford area in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters had to free a man and woman who were trapped in the wreckage of their car after an accident near Silsden Roundabout, Aire Valley Road, Steeton with Eastburn at 2.10 am.

The woman was unconscious when crews arrived, but she regained consciousness by the time they got her out.

Both were taken to hospital.

Just over 20 minutes later two cars collided near the Fleece Inn on Allerton Road, leaving one man trapped.

He was also taken to hospital after being freed by firefighters.

Crews attended from Fairweather Green and Bingley.
