Trial date set over shopkeeper murder
A provisional trial date of August 31 has been set at Bradford Crown Court for the case of a man and three teenagers accused of murdering Huddersfield shopkeeper Gurmail Singh, 63.
Muawaz Khalid, 20 of Blackmoorfoot Road, Huddersfield, and three 17-year-old youths had been committed for a preliminary hearing at Bradford Crown Court on Monday but the case was brought forward because of industrial action next week.
