Noddle, the credit service that claims to offer free credit scoring, said it has notched up two million customers.
The service, which is part of Leeds-based Callcredit Information Group, said it has seen phenomenal growth in 2015 with the number of customers doubling since January.
It said the growth is down to growing awareness among consumers of the importance of knowing their credit score and managing their finances.
Noddle attributed part of its growth to the launch of its first advertising campaign, “Meet the Noddlers” by creative agency, Brave in October.
The firm said the ad has driven an increase in brand awareness and sign-ups.
It said another growth factor was the free 12-month credit monitoring alerts service, which would have been worth £20, which Noddle offered Talk Talk customers following October’s cyber attack.
Jacqueline, Dewey, managing director of Callcredit Consumer Markets said: “Reaching two million customers is a significant milestone for Noddle and confirms our position as the UK’s fastest growing credit reporting and scoring service with record numbers of customers joining each month.
“Noddle’s growth also demonstrates that more and more consumers are aware of the importance of managing their financial health and credit report as well as knowing their credit score.”
Noddle makes its money by receiving a commission from product providers if customers that use its site take out a product.
