Two arrested in police operation after Halifax armed robbery
Police have arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a jewellers in Halifax.
At around 7pm tonight, police carried out a planned operation in the Haugh Shaw Road area of the town.
The men, aged 37 and 45, were arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Kingston Diamond Merchants in Old Market yesterday afternoon.

Hide AdA spokesman said a taser was discharged during the operation.
The robbery was the second at a jewellery shop in Calderdale within a week after Duranczyk T&G in Hebden Bridge was targeted on Friday.
