Two arrested ten years after man murdered

Alan Crabtree was reported missing from his home in Tong Street, Bradford in September 2000. The body of the former butcher, who was unemployed and had a drink problem, has never been found

Yesterday, officers from West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team travelled to Margate in Kent where they arrested a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.

Police said they believed the 41-year-old had travelled from his home in Bradford to Keighley on September 13, 2000, where he visited an address on Alice Street.
