Two cut free after car and bus crash

A DRIVER and a seven-year-old girl had to be cut free from a car after it collided head-on with a bus in Rotherham.

A yellow Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along Town Lane in Greasbrough shortly before 7.30pm on Sunday when it failed to negotiate a bend, went on to the wrong side of the road and hit a single-deck bus coming in the opposite direction.

Firefighters from Rotherham fire station and the technical rescue unit used cutting gear to help free the 32-year-old man and the little girl from the Corsa.
