Two in hospital after car flips on Leeds road

Two people were left trapped inside a vehicle that flipped onto its side after a collision in Leeds yesterday.

Firefighters were called to the scene of the collision in Grafton Street, in the Sheepscar area of the city and found the occupants, two females, were unable to free themselves.

Fire crews worked to release them and they were both then taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment for their injuries.

Two fire engines from Leeds fire station attended the incident at 1.15pm.
