Two men arrested after stabbing in York

Police were called to Etty Avenue, in the Tang Hall area, at around 12.10am on Saturday to reports of a disturbance.

Officers found a man, 30, who had stab wounds to his body and he was taken to hospital.

His injuries were not serious and he was discharged following treatment, police said.

The man was arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail yesterday.

A 31-year-old man was also bailed.

Police are now searching for a third man who they want to speak to in connection with the stabbing.
