Two people who were trapped in a car following a collision in a North Yorkshire market town were cut free and taken to hospital.
A fire crew from Helmsley crew attended the scene on Ryegate at around 10.40am today, where a car was on its side.
A North Yorkshire Fire ans Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One car involved, on its side with two persons trapped.
"Crews worked with hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle, allowing access and the release of both casualties."
The casualties were then left in the hands of paramedics and taken to hospital in an ambulance.
