Two VIP tickets for Leeds Festival up for auction

IT'S the perfect Christmas present for any music lover – two guaranteed VIP tickets for the 2011 Leeds Festival months before their general release.

We are auctioning a pair of tickets granting access to VIP camping, VIP parking and the use of the guest area for the entire festival during the August Bank Holiday weekend in aid of our Christmas appeal.

These massively sought-after tickets are going under the hammer this week and you only have until Friday to snap them up. We are inviting bids by email, with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 17 December. The person bidding the most wins the tickets.

All the money from the winning bid will go straight in the Yorkshire Post Communities in Need Appeal, which is raising funds for charities caring for vulnerable people in our region.

Despite Yorkshire being home to prosperous cities and beautiful villages there are also areas of serious deprivation. Even in our magnificent countryside around a quarter of children are living in hidden poverty.

That is why we have teamed up with Yorkshire Community Foundations – a network of local charities which provide funding for grassroots schemes and projects across the Yorkshire region.

They will ensure every penny donated is spent directly helping those in need – and that includes all the money raised by the sale of these Leeds Festival tickets.

How you can make a bid.
