11,000 apply for job at holiday village
More than 11,000 people have applied for jobs at a new holiday village opening in the spring.
Center Parcs said most of the applicants for its Woburn Forest site in Bedfordshire live in the local area, but the jobs have attracted interest from as far afield as the Isle of Man and Inverness.
Half the 1,500 roles have now been filled, with two out of five new recruits aged between 16 and 24. Among the jobs still to be filled are beauty therapists.
