Fire at demolition site of a Bradford mill which was destroyed by earlier blaze

FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a blaze at the demolition site of a mill building in Bradford which was destroyed by a massive fire earlier this year.

Crews from Shipley and Fairweather Green were called to the Drummond Mills demolition site, in Lumb Lane, in Bradford at around 3.50pm today.

The mill building was ravaged by a major fire in January.

After the first two crews arrived extra help was called for and Bradford and Shipley fire station crews have also been sent to the scene this afternoon.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was fire at the demolition site and there were no reports of any people being involved.
