Foster carers for teenagers in short supply
Charity the Fostering Network says the fact that babies and young children are prioritised when foster families are available has led to the shortfall, .
Finding families to look after teenagers was the top priority of the 128 fostering services it surveyed.

Hide AdIts study, released to mark the start of Foster Care Fortnight, found that 98 per cent of those fostering services have a shortage of families available to look after teenagers.
The charity is appealing for more people to consider becoming foster parents.
