Husband locked wife in his shed for witch insult

A HUSBAND locked his wife in a shed after she insulted his late mother by singing “ding dong, the witch is dead”, a court heard.

Andrew Salmon, 42, packed up his wife Beverley’s belongings and refused to let her into their home, telling her: “It is my house now – you are not getting in.”

When she took refuge in the shed he locked her inside but she managed to climb out of a window. She then let herself into their house in Truro, Cornwall, but Salmon then assaulted her, magistrates heard.
