It’s crawl over as comic David Walliams completes Thames swim
SWIMMING sensation David Walliams is kissed by his wife Lara Stone after finishing his 140-mile Thames challenge to raise more than £1m for Sport Relief.
The TV comic completed his gruelling eight-day swim last night as he passed beneath Westminster Bridge in London, with thousands lining the route. Afterwards, the Little Britain star, 40, said: “I think a bath is the only water I want to see for quite a while.”
Walliams burned nearly 66,000 calories as he powered through 107,062 strokes during his time in the water.
