Jackson’s children take to stage

Michael Jackson’s three children were guests of honour at a UK concert in memory of the superstar.

Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket took to the stage in front of an audience of 50,000 for the Michael Jackson Forever concert at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday. Jackson’s sister Latoya is seen with Blanket, left, and Paris.

The children of the King of Pop, who died from a drug overdose at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009, introduced a performance by Beyonce, who appeared via videolink to play the Jackson Five hit I Wanna Be Where You Are. As they stood on stage, dressed as various incarnations of their father’s stage persona, the children were greeted by tumultuous applause.

Blanket, the youngest child, looked stunned by the noise and the lights but the elder two looked at ease on the stage.

Later they took to the stage, alongside all the stars who performed on the night, to end the concert with a performance of Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough.
