Boris Johnson is due to speak today in front of northern business and political leaders at the Convention of the North event in Rotherham.

The Prime Minister has already been challenged to show his commitment to the North through "deeds, not words" ahead of his appearance at the Magna Science Adventure Centre. He is due to speak at 12.30pm.
