Luxury flat with £270,000
toilet on offer for £18m

A LUXURY flat with gold leaf panelling has been put on the market for a record-breaking £18m – with the toilet alone worth £270,000.

Every square foot in the four-bedroom apartment overlooking London’s Grosvenor Square costs £5,130.

This means the main bedroom suite is worth £3m – 17 times the average price paid for a home in England and Wales.

The apartment sits in one of the capital’s finest locations and has panoramic views over the historic Grosvenor Square.

The fourth-floor apartment was put on the market this week for a £18m. It is not the most valuable property for sale in Mayfair, but at £5,130 sq/ft it is the most expensive. This gives the toilet a £270,000 price-tag. And if the average news home in the UK came with the same £ per sq/ft price, it would cost £4.7m.
