Pensioner pops question to Prince
Prince Harry met Chelsea Pensioners during the Founder’s Day Parade at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London and laughed off questions about when he will wed from an old soldier.
Harry, 26, who was best man at his brother’s recent royal nuptials, was put on the spot as he celebrated its Founder’s Day.
William Titchmarsh, 85, who like the 300 residents living at the Royal Hospital Chelsea was a former serviceman, met the Prince as he toured the historic site. The wheelchair-bound Mr Titchmarsh came out with his question as soon as he had been introduced to Harry, asking: “When are you going to get married?”
The Prince, who has recently rekindled his romance with on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy, looked a little surprised, then replied: “Not for a long time.”
