Pipe up and be heard
Thousands of pipers from across the globe have descended on Glasgow for the World Pipe Band Championships this weekend.
Four of the competing bands marched through the city yesterday in the traditional curtain-raiser to the event, which will see 225 bands with 8,000 pipers and drummers play at Glasgow Green.
