Tribute to teenage girl in suspected overdose

THE family of a teenager who died of a suspected drugs overdose during a night out have paid tribute to her.

Serena Harding, 16, from Rixton, Warrington, died in hospital after she was found collapsed near a bench in Reddish Vale Road, Reddish, Stockport, at 10.50pm on Sunday.

Her parents, Diane and Kenneth Harding, said: “To our knowledge, she had never before taken drugs and this has come as a great shock to everyone who knew her. She will be missed so much. We feel there is a huge hole in our lives that can never be filled and cannot believe that she’s just not there any more.”
