Two arrested in murder inquiry after body find

A MURDER inquiry has been launched after a man was found dead at his home in Scunthorpe.

Roy Bush, 44, was found at his home in Pryme Road after a member of the public called police at 7.44pm on Saturday to say they were concerned for his safety.

He was found dead when officers arrived and a post-mortem examination revealed he died from serious head injuries.

Two men, aged 26 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

The man’s home and another address in East Common Lane, Scunthorpe, have been cordoned off as part of the investigation.

The inquiry is being led by Det Supt Dena Fleming, head of Humberside Police’s Major Incident Team.
