Underground strike talks set to continue

Talks aimed at averting more strikes by London Underground workers have adjourned until Monday.

Officials from the RMT and TSSA unions met London Underground managers under the chairmanship of the conciliation service Acas to try to resolve a row over ticket office closures.

Union members staged a 48-hour walkout which ended on Thursday night after causing travel chaos. Another 48-hour strike is planned from next Tuesday.
