Wedding now down to the fine tuning

Guests in the general congregation will arrive at the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey between 8.15-9.45am and from 9.50am governors-general and prime ministers of realm countries, the diplomatic corps, and other distinguished guests will arrive at the abbey.

Prince William and his best man Prince Harry will then leave Clarence House for the abbey, arriving at Westminster Abbey’s Great West Door at 10.15am

They will be followed five minutes later by the arrival of members of foreign royal families arrive at the abbey from Buckingham Palace.

Kate Middleton’s mother Carole Middleton and brother James Middleton arrive at the abbey at 10.27am.

Members of the Royal Family will then begin leaving Buckingham Palace for the abbey.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will arrive at the abbey at 10.42am, with The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh arriving for the service at 10.45am.

The bridesmaids and pages will leave the Goring Hotel, arriving at the abbey at 10.55am.

At 10.51am the bride and her father, Michael Middleton, will leave the Goring Hotel for Westminster Abbey. The service will begin at 11am.

Afterwards, at 12.15pm, the carriage procession of the bride and groom with a Captain’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, followed by the Queen’s procession with a Sovereign’s Escort of the Household Cavalry, leaves the abbey for Buckingham Palace. Guests will then begin arriving for the palace reception. At 1.25pm the Queen and the bride and groom, together with their families, will appear on the balcony at Buckingham Palace and at 1.30pm there will be a fly-past by the Royal Air Force and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
