CONGRATULATIONS to Ukip, Nigel Farage and Paul Sykes for their utterly brilliant poster campaign (The Yorkshire Post, April 22). They are articulating the views of thousands of ordinary British people who have been consistently ignored by Labour, the Tories and the Liberals, and treated by all of the former as though they are somehow too thick to realise that this country is being plundered and destroyed by unelected foreign bureaucrats in Brussels.

The political elite of all the aforementioned parties still promote the idiotic ideas of an all powerful United States of Europe run by pen-pushing, paper-shuffling bureaucrats, who in reality live the high life in the corridors of power in Brussels and Strasbourg, dining on fancy foods and driving smart motors, a large proportion of which pleasures are paid for by taxes imposed on the hardworking people of Great Britain, while at the same time thousands of impoverished British folks are reduced to visiting food banks in order to feed their families.

Hopefully this brilliant campaign will convince ordinary British people to vote for the only party which will free them from the yoke of EU domination and restore power and sovereignty to our own duly elected House of Commons.
