University student found dead at halls of residence in city
Police said yesterday they were not treating the death of Andrew Fielding, 27, a mature student at the University of York St John, as suspicious.
Mr Fielding was found dead at The Grange halls in Ramsay Close, at 11.50am Tuesday.

Hide AdA spokesman for the university said: “We are extremely saddened by the tragic death of Andrew Fielding earlier this week.
“Andrew was a lively, well-liked student who relished the opportunity to study history as a mature student.
“We would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends at this difficult time.”
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “Police attended the sudden death of a 27-year-old man at a residential address in Ramsay Close, York, on Tuesday 14 May 2013. Officers believe that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.”
The spokesman added: “A report will be prepared on behalf of the coroner.”
