Updated: Humber Bridge closed after reports of man threatening to harm himself
The Humber Bridge was closed after concerns were raised over a man threatening to harm himself on the bridge.
Humberside Police were called at around 4.15pm today (August 20) and specialist negotiators were sent in.
The bridge was closed to traffic in both directions and motorists were being advised to take alternative routes.
The Humber Bridge re-opened at around 6.30pm.
