UPDATED: Woman, 91, hit by car in Doncaster has died
A 91-year-old pedestrian who suffered critical injuries when she was hit by a car in Doncaster on Friday has died hin hospital.
Hilda Dell, from Doncaster, was struck by the red Ford Ka just before 12pm on Friday in Water Lane, Stainforth, close to its junction with Field Road.
She was taken to hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries and later died. Another pedestrian, a 61-year-old Doncaster man, was also hit by the car but escaped with minor injuries. Witnesses are asked to call police on 101.
