Valuable treasures onoffer for antiques fans

A fabulous array of treasures will welcome visitors to Harrogate Antique Fair from today.

Now in its 11th year, the event is firmly established as a world highlight in the trade, attracting dealers, collectors and decorators both from here and abroad.

Yorkshire dealers at the fair include Elaine Phillips (early oak) from Harrogate, Walker Galleries, who will be showing a range of 19th century art, Graham Saville, from Hebden Bridge, with early English caricatures, and Sutcliffe Galleries, whose director, Helen Sutcliffe, is the northern representative of the British Antique Dealers’ Association.

The fair runs until Tuesday at the Harrogate International Centre. Opening times are: today – 2pm-9pm, tomorrow and Sunday – 11am-6pm. Monday – 11am-8pm. Tuesday – 11am-5pm.
