Van driver who died after crash named
The van driver from Wakefield who died following a collision in Barnsley on Saturday has been named as Brian Royston, 58.
Mr Royston, from Kettlethorpe, died in Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital on Sunday after suffering a “medical condition” at the wheel of his black and red Ford Transit van the previous day. The Transit van was travelling along Midland Road when it was in collision with a white Renault Clio. Witnesses are asked to contact the South Yorkshire Police witness line on 0114 2202970.
