Van flip man taken to hospital
A driver had a lucky escape after his van flipped over several times.
Fire and rescue crews were called to the scene of an accident at 10.50pm yesterday on the A169.
The man was trapped in the van, which was on its roof.
A fire service spokesman said the man was cut free from the vehicle and taken to hospital with suspected spinal injuries. He added the van had flipped over several times before coming to a stop.
