Video: All the winners at Yorkshire’s Business Oscars
YORKSHIRE’s finest entrepreneurs were honoured last night at the region’s top business awards ceremony.
The Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards took place at the Queens Hotel in Leeds, and featured Yorkshire’s best small, medium and large businesses.
Keynote speaker was Patrick McLoughlin, above, the Secretary of State for Transport and MP for Derbyshire Dales, who is responsible for the HS2 high speed rail scheme which aims to improve transport connections between Yorkshire and London. Dan Walker, the rising star of BBC Sport, was the master of ceremonies.
The Sheffield University graduate is the presenter of Football Focus and hosts the BBC’s Open Golf coverage.
