Inspirational Janet Pfeiffer has already undergone numerous treatments and extended spells in hospital to battle the diseases.
She is currently waiting for the go-ahead for a liver operation due to take place at the end of the month. The 69-year-old, from Irthlingborough, Northants., signed up for the annual fundraiser Stanwick Lakes Autumn Run and walked the 10K course on Sunday (6/9). Janet is fundraising for Cancer Research UK and is currently halfway through her £1,000 target.
