Video: Celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton returns to his (Barnsley) roots
STYLIST to the stars Andrew Barton was back in his home town yesterday to pass on expert advice to students at Barnsley College’s new hairdressing department.
Mr Barton, who grew up in Royston, began his hairdressing career as an apprentice in Barnsley, but now operates out of a flagship salon in London’s Covent Garden.
He has his own haircare range and has tamed the tresses of celebrities including Girls Aloud, Robbie Williams and model Penny Lancaster, but is also well known for his role as a hairstylist on the television show 10 Years Younger.
