Video: Comic Phill Jupitus sings carols with Occupy Leeds protesters
He may be more used to alternative comedy than alternative carols, but comedian Phill Jupitus was happy to join in a carol service with a difference at the Occupy Leeds camp in City Square.
Campaigners altered the lyrics to highlight their cause. Pictured here next to Jude Abbott from the Leeds based band Chumbawamba he’s set to appear in a new musical “The Big Society” written by the group’s lead guitarist “Boff” Whalley. It opens at the City Varieties in Leeds on January 18.
