Video: Guide Dogs put through their paces in Leeds centre
The group, which consisted of around 12 blind and visually impaired people with around 30 guide dogs and sighted guides, met outside Leeds Bus Station before making their way by bus and on foot to the Age UK Cafe, in Mark Lane, Leeds city centre.
At the cafe they demonstrated sighted guide techniques and visitors were asked to put on blindfolds and negotiate obstacles with a guide dog or a hi-tech electronic UltraCane as part of Guide Dog Week.
