Young taste testers sampled a new children’s food range launched by Leeds-based supermarket giant Asda.

Youngsters were given special ‘Yum’ and ‘Yuk’ paddles to help give their verdict on the mouthwatering dishes served at the supermarket’s headquarters Asda House.

Every product in the newly-launched Chosen by Kids range has been tried and tested by children and also approved by mums.

Gail Paddy, Asda’s product development director said: “We’ve spent many hours talking and listening to mums’ mealtime woes and it seems that a lack of time and fussy kids refusing to eat their greens cause the biggest teatime troubles.

“For the first time ever, mums and their kids get to have their say on a range that ticks all boxes.”

The new range follows on from the success of the Chosen By You products launched in 2010.
