A pair of giant lobsters have clawed their way onto theheadland of a historic fishing village.

These stunning pictures show

the lobsters, which have been constructed out of wire and then

galvanised and powder-coated, standing claws at the ready about the

village of Staithes, North Yorks. The nine-foot-high lobsters are the

work of Whitby, North Yorks., sculptor Emma Stothard and were craned

into place for this year’s Staithes Festival of Heritage and Arts.
