Video: A wedding straight out of history
YORK Castle Museum has become the first venue in Yorkshire to be granted an evening wedding licence.
Couples can now tie the knot against the backdrop of the Victorian cobbled street of Kirkgate.
Jennifer Chadwick, the museum’s wedding and events manager said: “We can’t wait to hold out first evening ceremony under the new law.”
