The limited edition flavour has been developed with Akbar’s, which has 12 restaurants across the UK. The winner of the Curry Capital award will be announced on October 15.

Bradford, which has about 200 curry houses, is competing with Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham and Manchester, among others. Bradford submitted a “making of the crisp” DVD with the tagline “Bradford, the bid, Second to Naah”.
