Scarborough Museums Trust, the organisation responsible for the Rotunda Museum and Art Gallery in Scarborough, is celebrating having had a record breaking summer.

Scarborough Art Gallery hosted the exhibition From The Tiger who came to Tea To Mog and Pink Rabbit, a Judith Kerr Exhibition and over 5,000 people visited the exhibition, with some weeks being 80 per cent busier than the previous year with events like face painting and story telling proving a draw for all the family.

Not to be outdone, the Rotunda Museum, above, built on the success of the Fossil Festival in May and has seen a 10 per cent rise in numbers compared to last year. The Dinosaur Coast events and those held at Scarborough Collections at Woodend also continue to be popular.
