Volunteers keep the candle burning for charity campaign

YORKSHIRE children's cancer charity the Candlelighters Trust has launched a new drive to raise an additional £500,000.

The cash will be used to facilitate the move of its ward and outpatients' clinic from St James's Hospital to Leeds General Infirmary.

Past patients and their families joined those currently receiving treatment and Candlelighters' supporters for a launch event at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. The 150 volunteers stood together to recreate the Candlelighters logo.
