Wardens seen on yellow lines
A TEENAGER has embarrassed traffic wardens after spotting two of them booking motorists – while their own car was parked on double yellow lines.
Jordan Bruce, 19, saw the silver Peugeot partially parked on the double yellows in Sowerby Bridge, near Halifax.
One of the wardens admitted the car was his and Calderdale Council told him officers are not exempt from traffic regulations. Parking Services manager Jenny Dixon said: “They are not permitted, under any circumstances to park on double yellow lines.

However, acting Head of Highways and Engineering, Dave Tee then told him officers are exempt from the Traffic Regulation orders, so they had not committed any offence.
